SEPHIROTH The First SOLDIER PERSONALITY Calm, cool and obediently reliable, Sephiroth's demeanor as a confident professional SOLDIER is almost an absolute in public. He's ruthlessly efficient and incredibly knowledgeable in his specific arenas of combat and monster hunting, everything a living weapon should be. Unsurprisingly this has left him with a reputation of being cold or outright callous. Anything else is buried and shoved away, with few allowed to see anything else. Beneath the mask, he is a tenaciously loyal friend who, in spite of endless insecurities about himself is determined to help where he can and is primarily motivated by a baseline impulse to kindness and consideration for others, whether they are high stationed or not. HISTORY The son of Professors Hojo and Crescent, Sephiroth is the culmination of Project S, a perfect hybrid between human, monster and alien DNA, the remains of countless failed experiments used to create him. Separated from his mother at birth and raised entirely in a lab by only a handful of people, his early life was an ongoing set of experiments, brutal tests and trials, and outright torture all in the name of making him 'stronger'. At somewhere around fourteen he's sent to the active combat zone of Rhadore, and then to Wutai for its long, grinding war. After a lifetime of being nothing more than a weapon for the Company, and with only two friends, it's astonishing he doesn't snap much sooner. APPEARANCE IN-GAME Sephiroth is 6'7", nearly 300lbs, and widely regarded to be inhumanly beautiful, with pale skin, a muscular and very sturdy physique, almost metallic silvery gray hair that falls nearly to his knees and catlike blue-green eyes. He almost inevitably is clad nearly solidly in black, and prefers clothing that hides a myriad of faded scars. His Chimera sigil is on his right shoulder. His teeth have been entirely replaced by a carnivore's, with fangs, shearing molars and a rough tongue, and semi-retractable claws end his fingers and toes. Though mostly hidden by his clothing or hair, he has short black feathers running down his back, tawny fur on his legs and feet, and translucent, metallic silvery scales dotting nearly everywhere else. His feet are still plantigrade but resemble something closer to a lion's pads than anything human. INVENTORY Masamune - A nigh-indestructable supernatural weapon of Cetra forging, Masamune is Sephiroth's iconic longsword. Materia - Revive, Heal, Wind, Fire, Lightning, Ice and Magnify; all Mastered. All Inactive. First Class Uniform - His black on black, white-pauldroned uniform from Shinra, primarily made of leather, embossed with the Company logo. DESIRED: Friendships, rivalries, possibly even very very good friend..? :D OFF-LIMITS/TRIGGERS: I don't enjoy anything that whiffs of pedophilia, even in jokes. Please avoid if possible. IC Elaboration ROMANCE: Sephiroth has never actually been involved in a romance and won't really know what to DO with one, but it's an option. FIGHTING: Trained since he can walk on how to fight, he's a lethal combatant and might be a tricky opponent to take down, but fighting is an option. FOURTH-WALLING: I'm not opposed to it, but I'd like to know what you have planned before you do so, as I have no real interest in playing late-game insane Sephiroth. PSYCHIC IMPRESSIONS: Although Sephiroth is the most mentally stable he's ever been in his life, this guy is an iron-willed trainwreck; please PM for details if you wish to try psychic things on him.

+An increasingly carnivorous and voracious appetite. Plus a craving for raw meat, and a drive to go hunt it personally; the fresher, the better.

Monster form planned: "large horse sized" creature that looks a bit like a mostly feathery theropod dinosaur. Saurian head with lion teeth and canine external ears, mostly bipedal stance on mixed avian-lion feet, thickly furred/feathered long reptilian tail. Full coat of feathers and scales, thicker around the neck and head more like a lion's mane and a long ridge down the back. Rattle buried in the feathers down the tail. Grasping forelimbs longer than on most dinosaurs, enough to run on if chosen but bipedal preferred. Arms have short wing-pattern feathers. Not capable of flight ordinarily; primarily a terrestrial beast. Protean Form CAN be used to alter that into more useable wings wyvern-style. Black feathers, tawny fur, silver scales; scales copy diamondback rattlesnake pattern.

Overall impression "smoother" and more "polished" than traditional multiheaded chimeras, a clean hybrid instead of a jumble of cobbled-together creatures.


Planned default form: Humanoid, winged?, possibly keeping the saurian tail with the rattle. Animal ears. Sharp teeth and claws, plantigrade but animal feets? Still working on it. Debating no default wings, and having to Protean Form them in. Debating tail + digitigrade stance, but keeping upper body mostly human for that disjointed chimera look.

Find out if protean form can deliberately temporarily grow extra heads, chimera myth snake tail but only sometimes?? Find out if secondary species can be kept minimally influencing, mostly 'flavor' vs the major impact of three primary species. Example, rattlesnake pattern and rattle but not venom/heat sensing.
